Stained Glass Lamps

Matthildur Skúladottir was born in Reykjavik. She makes lamps and stained glass for windows.

Similar glasses were first made by the Tiffany's brothers. They were poor and moved from Italy to USA. The Tiffany's brothers lived in old houses. The windows on the house were broken so they began to make stained glass. Afterwards this art form spread out and a lot of churches have stained glass in their windows. This art is known in churches in Italy and other European countries.

Matthildur learned to love this art form when she lived abroad,so she began to learn to make art pieces of stained glass. She makes beautiful stained glass lamps.
